"The goal of the Public Health Agency of Canada’s FASD Initiative is to provide strategic federal leadership and coordination, with the aim of preventing FASD and improving the health and social outcomes for those already affected. The Agency invests $1.5 million annually in the Initiative’s National Strategic Projects Fund (NSPF) to help develop knowledge, tools and resources to address the issue. The Initiative has developed a FASD 5-year strategic plan which establishes four priorities and serves as a roadmap for future collaboration with partners and stakeholders"--p. [1].
