This standard sets out the requirements for the design and manufacture of small containers with a maximum capacity of 450 L and their use for the transportation of dangerous goods in Class 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8 or 9. This standard consists of two parts and three appendices. Part I contains the requirements for the design and manufacture of UN Standardized small means of containment in Canada. Part II contains the requirements for the selection and use of small means of containment for handling, offering for transport, or transporting dangerous goods in Class 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8 and 9.
