General Motors and Chrysler restructuring : lessons learned in the management of the financial assistance.: Iu44-102/2016E-PDF

This report documents the results of a review of the management of the financial assistance provided to General Motors (GM) and Chrysler during the 2008-09 financial crisis, with a focus on identifying lessons learned. The review was undertaken in November and December 2015 for Industry Canada, now Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada, in response to a recommendation by the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) that ISED should undertake such a review.
