520 |aThe Targeted Geoscience Initiative (TGI-4) is a collaborative federal geoscience program that provides industry with the next generation of geoscience knowledge and innovative techniques to better detect buried mineral deposits, thereby reducing some of the risks of exploration. This preliminary report provides a first-year update on a two-year project documenting the iron and magnesium isotope composition of alteration minerals directly associated with the McArthur River unconformity-related uranium deposit in Saskatchewan. If successful, these isotopic signatures may provide insights on the ore-forming mechanisms and vectors to ore.
