Canadian iron formation database / [by] G.A. Gross and E.M. Hillary.: M183-2/7686E-PDF
Iron formations in Canada are located mainly in ancient passive continental margin (Lake Superior type) and oceanic rift or arc-backarc basin (Algoma type) geological settings. Other iron deposits, which may also contain titanium and/or vanadium, are associated with magmatic intrusions. The aim of this compilation is to demonstrate the presence and general locations of large iron formations and other iron deposits in Canada.
