"The objective of the audit was to assure the CNSC has established a comprehensive and effective control framework and compliance with the NSCA and regulations and/or the conditions of licences issued by the Commission Tribunal. The audit examined the management framework supporting enforcement activities (including procedures, tools, risk management activities, guidance and training of inspectors) and enforcement actions by CNSC inspection staff (a sample of enforcement actions was examined to ensure that policies and procedures were followed)."--p. 3.
