The objective of this survey was to increase coverage of the St. Lawrence Estuary from 30 m water depth and deeper. It was also the first field trial of the new sub-bottom profiler installed on the Creed earlier in the spring. The field activities collected over 1200 km2 of multibeam bathymetry and backscatter as well as coincident sub-bottom profiler and magnetometer data in the Estuary between the Saguenay River, including the area upstream from the Saguenay River but within the limits of the Saguenay - St. Lawrence Marine Park, and Pointe-des-Monts, with full coverage from the deepwater portion of the estuary to 30 metres water depth....
