Microdata user's guide : the Survey of Work Arrangements.: CS71-0013/1991E-PDF
Through the Labour Force Survey we have an abundance of information about the weekly hours worked by Canadian workers, and from the labour market Activity Survey we know how many weeks they work per year. However, very little is known about their work schedules (e.g. shift work, flexitime, "on call"), home-based work, temporary jobs and reasons for holding more than one job. The Survey of Work Arrangements was conducted to fill in these data gaps.
