The Canadian Heritage Information Network’s (CHIN) role within the Department of Canadian Heritage (PCH) consists of ensuring a unique Canadian presence on the Internet by fostering the collaborative creation of original and innovative Canadian content, making it accessible to Canadians and worldwide audiences in engaging ways through portal services and building the capacity of Canadian heritage professionals to become world leaders in the use of information and communication technologies.
