This report presents the results of the interdepartmental summative evaluation of the Canadian Regulatory System for Biotechnology (CRSB). The purpose of the evaluation was to examine the continued relevance of the CRSB, the extent to which the initiative is achieving its objectives, its other impacts and effects, and whether there are more cost-effective ways of achieving the mandate and objectives of the CRSB.
