"This report presents population projections for Canada, the provinces and territories from 1989 to 2011. In order to assess the long-term growth and age structure implications of assumed demographic trends, the projection period has been extended to 2036 for Canada. In the latter case, the parameters of each population growth component - fertility, mortality and migration - have been kept constant up to 2036 at the levels projected for 2011." -- Intro., p. 1.
