The purpose of this synthesis is to summarize key findings and recommendations of evaluation studies that were approved by DAEC in 2005-06 so as to identify (and, where appropriate, generalize from) lessons learned, innovations, and other information that could help Health Canada improve management, policy or program effectiveness outside the areas evaluated, including in the development and design of new policies and programs.
