Canadian poultry handbook .: A12-8/90-1940E-PDF
"This handbook was first prepared by the New Brunswick Department of Agriculture under the authorship of Leslie Wood, Poultry Superintendent. It was originally intended for the use of boys and girls enrolled as members of the Poultry Clubs of that province. ... In the preparation of this handbook the author has made an effort to emphasize essentials rather than passing fads, to recognize the possibilities which lie in recent inventions and research, and to present the material in a clear, concise and not too technical form. A need has been apparent for some time for a publication of this kind that would prove equally useful to farm poultrymen throughout the Dominion ... Mr. Wood has revised the text to give it more general application to the country at large. Considerable new material has been added"--Preface, p. [3].
