"The legislation to which these explanatory notes relate contains amendments to the Income Tax Act, the Canada Pension Plan, the Old Age Security Act and the War Veterans Allowance Act, and provisions repealing the Family Allowances Act, enacting the Children's Special Allowances Act and dealing with transitional measures. These amendments are designed to implement the child tax benefit proposed by the federal goverment in the February 25, 1992 budget."--Pref.
