Indexes of real domestic product by industry (1961 base) .: CS61-506/1968E-PDF
“Constant price measures require periodic rebasing and revision if their quality is to he maintained and improved. It is also important that historical continuity and consistency with other related series be safeguarded as far as possible. This paper attempts to accomplish these objectives by presenting Real Domestic Product by industry of origin (including special component industry aggregates such as the Index of Industrial Production) on a 1961 weight and reference base, and by introducing a number of important improvements such as the 1960 Standard Industrial Classification of industries and more up-to-date annual levels.” – Preface.
