Unemployment : family statistics / by Jean-Marc Lévesque = Le chômage : statistique familiale / par Jean-Marc Lévesque.: CS71-601/8-1977-PDF
“The former Labour Force Survey was a source of an extensive time series relating unemployment to family characteristics: a time series which, while limited in scope, found wide application with data users. In recognition of the demand for these data, the revisions to the Labour Force Survey included the development of techniques which would allow Statistics Canada to expand the subject matter scope of the family statistics and to allow their production with the same timeliness as the basic labour force statistics.”—Introduction.
