"Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act and Regulations, is proposing full registration for the sale and use of Nufarm Pyraflufen-ethyl Technical and Pyro Herbicide (previously known as NUP6D 04 Herbicide), containing the technical grade active ingredient pyraflufen-ethyl, to be used for control of emerged broadleaf weeds prior to the emergence of wheat (spring, durum, and winter), barley, oats, rye (spring and fall), triticale, buckwheat, pearl millet, proso millet, canola, mustard, peas, beans, lentils, corn and soybean. An evaluation of available scientific information found that, under the approved conditions of use, the product has value and does not present an unacceptable risk to human health or the environment”--p. 1.
