Farmers' business organizations in Canada / by A.E. Richards.: A12-2/173-1934E-PDF
"Since one of the purposes for which the Economics Branch was established was to study the farmers' co-operative movement it was felt that the first step to take should be the acquisition of all the information possible on the activities of such agencies in Canada. To that end arrangements were made for a survey of existing organizations. Information was sought from all farmer-owned and controlled associations, companies, societies and clubs, actively engaged in business regardless of their methods of operation or form of organization. The information thus obtained is summarized in the following pages"--Introd., p. 5.
