Quinclorac .: H113-28/2016-8E-PDF

"Quinclorac is a herbicide registered for use on cereal and oilseed crops in the Prairie Provinces and Peace River region of British Columbia to control and/or suppress certain grassy and broadleaved weeds. Quinclorac products can be applied once per season every second year using ground equipment only. A total of eleven products containing quinclorac are currently registered under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, including two technical grade active ingredients, a manufacturing concentrate and eight commercial class end-use products. After a re-evaluation of quinclorac, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, is granting continued registration of products containing quinclorac for sale and use in Canada. An evaluation of available scientific information found that products containing quinclorac do not present unacceptable risks to human health or the environment when used according to the requirements of continued registration listed below, which include revised label directions for all products. Appendix I lists the required label amendments, and Appendix II lists currently registered products containing quinclorac. No additional data are requested at this time“--p. 1.
