“The Central and Eastern European Branch (CEE), of CIDA requested this evaluation to capture the results of its contribution to Hungary’s transition to a market economy, pluralistic society and eventual membership in the European Union (EU). This analysis is the first in a series of assessments of countries in Central and Northern Europe that will soon join the EU. The objectives of the review are to: document the results, identify lessons, further learning about countries in transition and build capacity to conduct future evaluations within CEE and CIDA"-- Introd.
