Tebuconazole .H113-9/2016-33E-PDF

"Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act and Regulations, is proposing full registration for the sale and use of Folicur Technical Fungicide and Mirage Stressgard, containing the technical grade active ingredient tebuconazole, for control of diseases of turfgrass on golf courses and sod farms. Tebuconazole is currently registered for use as a seed treatment, for use on wheat, barley, oats, corn, nuts, cucurbits and soybeans and as a wood preservative. An evaluation of available scientific information found that, under the approved conditions of use, the product has value and does not present an unacceptable risk to human health or the environment. This Overview describes the key points of the evaluation, while the Science Evaluation section provides detailed technical information on the human health, environmental and value assessments of Folicur Technical Fungicide and Mirage Stressgard”--p. 1.
