"The birthplace of the population of Canada as enumerated under date of June 1st, 1911, is given in this bulletin by provinces and by cities having 20,000 population and over. More extended tables will be found in Volume II of the Census. Table I gives the birthplace of the people by provinces. Table II gives the population of Canada by birthplaces for the census years 1911 and 1901, together with the per cent ratio of the native and immigrant population to the total population. Table III compares the British and foreign-born by provinces in 1911 and 1901. Table IV shows the movement of the native population.Table V gives the sources of the population of the Dominion by provinces.Table VI gives the birthplace of the population.in the principal cities:--p.
