Canadian newspapers have undergone a technological revolution in the past decade. The introduction of computers, barely under way when the Special Senate Committee under the chairmanship of Senator Keith Davey published its Report on Mass Media in 1970, has changed the appearance and function of the editorial departments of most of our newspapers.
