Calendarization on the context of the Unified Enterprise Survey / Yanick Beaucage and Peter S. Tarassoff.CS68-0016/1998E-PDF

"This document will show the importance of calendarization, explain how it is performed and what the necessary inputs are, and finally discuss certain aspects of the development of a calendarization system. These aspects include: the construction of seasonal profiles, the types of variable that are to be calendarized, the place of calendarization in a processing sequence, the constraints among variables and/or among units (enterprise/establishment) that calendarization ought to preserve, and finally the evaluation of calendarized values. This discussion will he made in an exploratory way since the UES calendarization system will not be ready until Fall 1998. Data from other surveys will be used to illustrate each point"--Abstract.
