"This Policy and Practice Report (“PPR”) describes the various marine environment-related topics that may be relevant to Fraser River sockeye productivity. The focus is on regulation and management. On July 6-8, 2011, the commission heard testimony from two panels of expert witnesses regarding the marine ecology of Fraser sockeye. This PPR, however, is focused on other topics related to the marine environment, which will be the subject of hearings on August 17-18, 2011."--p. 5.
