"In this Bulletin the population enumerated in the Seventh Census of Canada is classified according to the denomination or sect to which the people professed adherence to or membership in. ... In this bulletin the tables give the number of persons reported under each denominational group. In the final volumes for the Census there will be tables cross classifying the population by religions according to quinquennial age groups for provinces rural and urban"--p. 3.
