"The present report, one of a series which will be published for each of the Prairie Provinces, gives for Manitoba certain results of the Census of Population and Agriculture taken as of June 1, 1936, namely, the data on occupations, unemployment, earnings and employment, dwellings, households,and families. These data for the three Prairie Provinces will later be brought together in Volume II of the Census Report ... Volume II of the 1936 Census of Manitoba is divided into four parts. Part I presents statistics of the gainfully occupied. Part II statistics of unemployment and earnings and employment among wage-earners.
