"This report gives the final figures for agriculture from the 1945 Census of Newfoundland. These tabulations have been carried out in the Dominion Bureau of Statistics at the request of Newfoundland. The present report gives data by Census District on the number cultivating land; the condition of land; area, production, and sales of crops; farm machinery and equipment; live stock and products. A number of historical tables are also included"--Pref.
