"The NCC conducted the Gatineau Park Visitor and Economic Impact Study from September 2015 to August 2016. The study findings will inform the upcoming renewal of the Gatineau Park Master Plan, as well as conservation, recreation and cultural initiatives in the Park. The study results provided the following: a sense of the regional economic impact of Park activities; the number of visits to the Park and the rate of user satisfaction; a better understanding of Park visitors and an increased public awareness of the NCC’s role as steward of the Park”--Provided by publisher.
