"This notice is to advise that Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has initiated a special review of registered pest control products containing the active ingredient atrazine under subsection 17(1) of the Pest Control Products Act. PMRA became aware of additional information on atrazine and a preliminary analysis of this information indicated that the criteria listed in subsection 17(1) of the Pest Control Products Act have been met, and a special review is warranted"--p. 1.
