Census of the Prairie Provinces, 1946 = Recensement des Provinces des Prairies, 1946: CS98-1946-PDF

Four volumes giving the final statistical results of the 1946 Census of the Prairie Provinces. Vol. 1 gives the population of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta down to the smallest geograpical areas, and presents various classifications of the population relating to the subjects of sex, age, marital status, birthplace, citizenship, mother tongue, years of schooling and migration. Vol. 2 deals with the occupations and industries of the gainfully occupied population as well as employment and earnings of wage-earners. Vol. 3 contains census statistics relating to dwellings, households and families, and Vol. 4 presents the results of the census of agriculture.
