"During the period January 22 to January 25, 1984, a sidescan sonar survey was conducted on St. Pierre Bank, of The Grand Banks of Newfoundland. The survey was conducted aboard the supply vessel, CLAYMORE SEA, owned by Secunda Marine Services Ltd., of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Geomarine Associates Ltd., of Halifax, provided the sidescan sonar system and operators. Navigation was provided by the vessel's onboard Loran-C system, with a satellite backup system. The sidescan data was recorded along the Loran-C lanes shown in the 1:15,000 Track Map of Enclosure 1 The base for the track map was drafted from an enlarged portion of Canadian Hydrographic Service Chart L/C 4015 (CHS, 1983). The enlarged portion was redrafted to show every Loran C lane and the CLAYMORE SEA track lines were plotted on the new enlarged grid at 1:15,000"--Introd., p. 1.
