"This memorandum has been revised to denote the following changes: (a) provide definitions for Advance Commercial Information, Carrier, Conveyance, Electronic Data Interchange, eManifest, First Port of Arrival, and Freight Forwarder; (b) updates with regards to presenting paper cargo; (c) clarification of a re-manifest statement in paragraph 71; (d) addition of Appendix F, Cargo Data Requirements when presenting a paper version of ACI transmittal; and (e) reference to Memorandum D23-2-1, Self-Assessment Program for Carriers was updated, previously known as D3-1-7. This memorandum outlines and explains general Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) requirements and administrative policies regarding the reporting and transportation of goods being imported into and moving in-transit through Canada by all modes of transport"--In brief, p.
