"This picture story of seal hunting in the north was prepared by Lome Smith, Community Teacher, Arctic Bay, N.W.T., and is for use in Primary grades. The booklet has a vocabulary of 64 words, of which 36 are found in the Dolch basic sight vocabulary list. The remaining 28 words deal mainly with the northern environment and will be familiar to the pupils."--Foreword.
