"This report is one of a number of special reports prepared from the data collected by the Survey of Consumer Finances in the spring of 1968. It is a study of income patterns among the population aged 14 to 24 and their work experience in 1967 in respect to the socio-economic characteristics of the young people and their families. Highly topical questions about the choice between school attendence and labour force participation could not be fully answered in the light of data limitation. However, some interesting preliminary findings are presented"--Preface.
