"This method provides a means of determining the degree of corrosiveness of gasoline and middle distillate fuels to silver or silver alloys used in fuel system components. This method also applies to oxygenated gasoline and diesel blends, intermediate streams or blending components such as alkylate, reformate, and isomerate"--Scope.
