"The purpose of this report is to provide a summary of the Investments in Forestry Transformation (IFIT) program (launched in 2010 with a budget of $100 million) and the projects it funded between 2010 and 2014. Because the program was renewed until 2018 under Canada's Economic Action Plan 2014, the intent is to provide a periodic update to profile new technology, innovation and transformation as projects are completed."-- Executive summary, 2010/2014, p. 2.
