"The Survey of Consumer Finances (SCF) is a annual supplement to the Labour Force Survey (LFS) which generates estimates of average income and income distribution at various levels of aggregation. In order to improve the efficiency of income estimates, an additional level of stratification based on high income was introduced in the 1991 redesign of the LFS. In this paper the methodology used for the study and results are presented"--Abstract.
