“The aqueous systems, including pH regulators and collectors, that affect the floatability of eleven common non-metallic minerals are outlined. The effect of six common modifiers on the floatability of these minerals in the aqueous systems employed is also outlined. Results are presented graphically for ease of comparison. As the work is extended to include other minerals, similar minerals from different sources and additional aqueous systems, further reports will be issued. The project is intended to assist workers in the solution of problems involving non-metallic mineral flotation"--Abstract, p. i.
