"At the First International Summit on Environmental Assessment, held in June 1994, Canada agreed to prepare a discussion paper on the development of an international EA network for review by participants. This report, based on a draft paper prepared by the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) and reviewed by Summit participants, presents the results of the CEAA-sponsored study. The paper offers a framework on how such a network could be organized and operated, and explains how the CEAA has used the framework to develop its site on the Internet"--Preface.
