"A Regional Peer Review Process on the assessment of Newfoundland East and South coast herring (Clupea harengus) was held January 31-February 1, 2017, in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador (NL). The objective of this meeting was to assess the stock status of herring in Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO) Divisions 3K, 3L and Subdivision 3Ps. This proceedings report includes an abstract and summary of discussion for each presentation, and a list of research recommendations.
