“CETA, or the Canada-European Union (EU) Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, will be provisionally applied on September 21st 2017. It will create jobs, strengthen economic relations and bridge the gap between Canadian agri-food companies and the EU’s 510 million consumers. CETA is one of Canada’s most ambitious trade initiatives and will offer significant benefits to exporters. It is a progressive free trade agreement that covers virtually all sectors and aspects of Canada-EU trade in order to eliminate or reduce barriers”--P. [1].
