Stock status update of lobster (Homarus americanus) in the Bay of Fundy (lobster fishing areas 35-38) .: Fs70-7/2017-039E-PDF
“Advice on the stock status of American Lobster (lobster) in Lobster Fishing Areas (LFAs) 35-38 is requested annually by Fisheries and Aquaculture Management (FAM). The last Regional Advisory Process of this stock occurred in February 2013, with updates occurring since 2014. The 2013 assessment identified three primary indicators that describe changes in lobster abundance and biomass, as well as proposed reference points for each indicator. This Science Response updates these indicators to the end of the 2015-16 fishing season. This Science Response Report results from the Science Response Process of June 26, 2017, on the 2017 Stock Status Update of American Lobster in Lobster Fishing Areas (LFAs) 35-38"--Context, p. [1].
