“This document constitutes the evaluation of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Class Grant and Contribution (G&C) Program to Support Awareness, Research and Training in Space Science and Technology, hereafter referred to as the Class G&C Program. The evaluation was conducted during the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 fiscal years by the CSA’s Audit and Evaluation Directorate (specifically, the CSA’s Evaluation function) in response to the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat’s (TBS) Policy on Evaluation (2009a) and to the Policy on Transfer Payments (2008), which require that all ongoing federal G&Cs programs be evaluated every five years. The evaluation covers the period from October 1, 2009 to March 31, 2014"--Introd., p. 1.
