It specifies the requirements for obtaining a Canadian product authorization and classification. In addition, it specifies what must be declared by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's representative. It also describes minimum requirements for the design, technical information, performance, primary package and labeling requirements, and corresponding test methods for the product"--Introd., p. 1.
