"This Guide outlines the general intent of the Investments in Forest Industry Transformation (IFIT) program and its application process. It explains how the Department of Natural Resources (NRCan) will review information submitted in response to the Call for Proposals in a consistent, fair, and transparent manner. IFIT provides non-repayable contributions of up to 50% of a project’s costs for the demonstration of innovative technologies at the pilot to commercial scale in the Canadian forest industry"--P. 2, 3.
