Zinc oxide and its associated end-use products (swimming pool and spa uses) : consultation document.: H113-27/2017-17E-PDF

"After a re-evaluation of zinc oxide, the Health Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act and Regulations, is proposing continued registration of pest control products containing zinc oxide for sale and use in Canada. The focus of this re-evaluation is the use of zinc oxide in swimming pools and spas. The use of zinc oxide as a wood preservative was previously re-evaluated (RVD2011-06) and is not considered in this re-evaluation. This Proposed Re-evaluation Decision is a consultation document that summarizes the science evaluation for zinc oxide and presents the reasons for the proposed re-evaluation decision"--Overview, p. 1.
