“This publication presents the results of a 1982 survey of all establishments classified to the 1980 Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 775 - Architectural, Engineering and Other Scientific and Technical Services. It was initiated by the Department of Regional Industrial Expansion and with the support of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. The results of this 1982 program are presented in three sections within this publication. Section I presents tabular information accompanied with analytical comments for consulting engineering services. Section II details results for architectural firms while Section III presents information collected from other architectural, scientific and technical service businesses"--Introd., p. [7].
