"A series of chemical and physical analyses were carried out to assist the Scientific Authority (Institute of Ocean Sciences) in developing meaningful criteria for ocean disposal of dredged or sedimentary material. Two sediment cores, one from Victoria Harbour and one from False Creek were submitted for these analyses. This report contains the detailed methodology utilized, with results presented in concise summary tables. The discussion is limited to the suitability of the analysis scheme, as per the terms of reference of our contract"--Summary, p. 1.
