Screening assessment for the challenge : 1-naphthalenepropanol, α-ethenyldecahydro-2-hydroxy-α,2,5,5,8α-pentamethyl-, [1R-[1α(R*),2β,4αβ,8αα]]- (sclareol) : Chemical Abstracts Service registry number...: En14-294/2017E-PDF
"The Government of Canada has conducted a science-based evaluation of sclareol, called a screening assessment. Results of the final screening assessment indicate that sclareol has the potential to remain in the environment for a long time and accumulate in organisms; however, the quantity of sclareol that may be released to the environment is below the level expected to cause harm to organisms. Although sclareol is not concluded to be harmful to the environment or human health at current levels of exposure, this substance is associated with ecological effects of concern. Therefore, it may be of concern if use patterns of this substance were to change, or concentrations in the environment were to increase”--Provided by publisher.
